Whitney Houston - One of those days
Can’t remember a bad moment in life when one of Houston’s songs were playing. Especially being raised by a single mom, her new songs were always getting played around the house, in the car, at a party, and so on.
She possessed such a beautiful yet powerful voice that always stood out, when she sang, she sang(as they say in the church). This song came out when I was during that weird time when you are ending the teenager years, and beginning adulthood. Though the video project a kind of ”girls night out” vibe, the song itself always brought a smile to my face regardless of the hyper-masculinity I was trying to project during that time in life.
Thank you Whitney Houston for the joy that you were able to bring in my life through your music.
