Outkast-Morris Brown
This song right here I will never understand how it didn’t make a bigger splash. It had all the ingridients of a Outkast classic, minus a verse from Andre 3K(though he was on the production). It was like a modern day Earth Wind & Fire jam, The horns?!?! Ridiculous! And lets not forget that the movie Drumline starring Nick Ca(non)ery was mildly successful at the box office not to far between this. So the whole marching band sound was in the minds of the consumer. What else do you need? Also the video featured a then then relatively unknown yet still beautiful Janelle Monae. If that isn’t the recipe for a hit, I don’t know what is?
